The Macon City Auditorium is a historic auditorium located in Macon, Georgia, United States. It was built in 1925 in the Beaux-Arts architectural style and can seat up to 2,700 people. The auditorium has hosted many notable acts throughout its history, including Elvis Presley, James Brown, and Johnny Cash. It was also the site of the first-ever Southern peanut festival in 1938. The Macon City Auditorium is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is still in use today for a variety of events, including concerts, graduation ceremonies, and community events.
